Pal Sports Newsletter   - Spring 2009

Who are we?

My husband Jeff I both grew up in the West county area. We run a family owned Concrete construction company. We are a very grateful for our two wonderful sons.

Dalton is our oldest. He is 15 and has Down syndrome. Dillon is Dalton’s best friend and younger brother at age 13.

God has blessed Jeff and I with a wonderful family.

What is Pal Sports?

We started Pal Sports in 2005. Dalton reached the age where he could no longer play sports on his brother’s team. He wanted so much to be with his brother and their friends. We tried other teams, Nothing seem to work.

We came up with a way that Dalton could play sports and be with his brother.

Pal sports are year round sports for kids with special needs that provides them with a PAL.

We truly believe in the verse Philippians 4:13

For I can do everything with the help of Christ who strengthens me.
What better way to encourage our children than with Christ love, great friends and a Pal who is right next to them teaching, encouraging & helping them reach his/her goals.

We want mom, dad, grandma, papa, aunts, uncles, friends & neighbors to bring their chairs, cameras and maybe a few snacks and come relax and enjoy watching there child become a team champion. We like our Pal helpers to be teen siblings or someone close to the family that wants the opportunity to be a part of these special moments.

Where is Pal Sports?

Our sports are held in the West county area.

Our family church is Rockwood Baptist Church which is located of Hwy. BA and Hwy. 109. Our Pastor is Dennis Cagle. Pastor and his family have a gracious heart for children. The church helped raise funds to put a Baseball field on the property for Pal Sports.
